Playland Village

Built in the early 1960's in eastern Davie, Florida, Playland Village is one of the town's most affordable single-family home communities. This subdivision does not have a homeowner association (HOA).

Homes in Playland Village are single-story and have 2-4 bedrooms and 1-3 bathrooms and some have a carport. Some houses have pools and a few are lakefront.

Within this neighborhood you'll find Veteran's Park, which is small but offers a picnic area and fishing on the lake. There's also Potter Park which includes a baseball field, basketball court, racquetball court, and children's playground as well as a multipurpose center with gymnasium, boxing rings, meeting rooms and a computer lab.

Another park in Playland Village is the Betty Booth Roberts Park which features a large community pool (heated), two shelters with picnic tables, a basketball court, a combination use softball/baseball/football field, a multipurpose trail and a children's playground.

The Playland Village neighborhood is immediately east of the South Florida Educational Center (BCC, FAU and NSU). The community is located east of Davie Road, between SW 36th Court and Orange Drive.
